A Conversation Piece

I found an old collection of stories I wrote in year 10 or 11, and have fallen deeply, deeply in love with the characters, the premise, and the landscape and atmosphere hidden within the atrociously written prose. It was at a time after my chronic plagiarism where i strove for originality, and while i can still see exactly what the younger me took influence from, their design is quite refreshing, and better than anything i can come up with at the moment. So, since I need more figurative illustration stuff in my portfolio, the characters and their surroundings provide excellent subject matter. I'm delighted at the chance to revive them again. Oh, these guys being Celeste, Blaze and Elvira, and the fuzzy blue critter being Ferdinand.

For the title of this, I was initially thinking back to this piece by one of my favourite sculptors, Juan Munoz, but on Wikiing the piece itself, I realised that a 'conversation piece is in fact an artistic concept. *is pleased at learned thing* I hope that enlightened someone else too.
